Arbaria

The goddess Tanit replaced ambrosia with sweet zibibbo grape juice to seduce Apollo.

Today, as in the past, the zibibbo grapes, partially dried naturally in the sun , are used to make Arbaria, a sipping wine that is velvety smooth, aromatic and sweet.

It gently accompanies marbled and spicy cheeses and traditional Sicilian almond sweets and cassata (typical Sicilian pastry).

Preferably served in medium tulip glasses at a temperature of 10-12°C, it will charm the palate of anyone who drinks it.

A’mmare Pantelleria DOP Bianco - CRU di Campobello

Ammare comes from a family vineyard in Campobello di Pantelleria; a small plot of land enclosed by low walls about 30 meters above sea level, very close to the water's edge. The vineyard gets from the sea the little, sometimes salty, frost that keeps it alive. In these conditions, the grapes ripen very early, some years even at the end of July.

Considering the triple aptitude of Zibibbo, farmers historically sold these grapes as table grapes, as they represented a safe income, despite the low production per hectare. We selected the grapes harvested during the first half of August with an advanced ripening, vinified them and let them sit in stainless steel silos for some years.

The result is a wine with great alcoholic content, an aromatic bouquet and an incomparable sapidity due to the conditions in which the vine grows. Elegant, powerful, unique. Its strong yellow colour and the unmistakeable bouquet make it a great wine to enjoy in company.

AMANOLIBERA Pantelleria DOP Bianco frizzante

In any terrace surrounded by stone walls and planted with Zibibbo, man has always tried to make the most productive the vineyards. In this regard, close to walls, near the caper plants, some small pergolas of white or red grapes were planted to make wine for personal use. The farmers were very jealous of this production that associated with the second late vintage of the Zibibbo, around the fourth week of September, were used to produce a particular wine.

This wine were a bit sparkling. By observing this tradition we had the idea to produce a wine from late Zibibbo grapes, with a slow fermentation, whose light carbonation enhanced the typical aromatic freshness of the grape.

This wine has an alcohol content of 12°, a good acidity and a delicate scent of fresh white fruit. The slight perlage and delicate flavor make it a pleasant and persistent wine to pair with any meal, as an aperitif, and in all the moments of liveliness.

VOTA E FIRRIA Terre Siciliane IGP Rosato frizzante

Retracing history projecting to the future.

This is what inspired us for the creation of this wine, pushing Us to use a forgotten vine, vinifying it in a "daring" way in union with the vine that caused its almost complete disappearance on the island.

Perricone is one of the oldest autochthonous black variety grape varieties in Sicily. In Pantelleria, the farmers calls It "Nero Nostrale", a few of the eldest people on the island claims that this grape has appeared in Pantelleria before than in the area of Trapani. Vine with a low yield, elegant and fragrant, with a good tannic component.

We vinified it with a part of Zibibbo from Pantelleria in order to give it more freshness, aromaticity and persistence. These characteristics, in our opinion, combined with the tannic component typical of Perricone, brings to our mouth that contrasting character typical of the Sicilian culture and nature, contact territory between two continents and two cultures.

The result is a great sparkling rosè with a deep pink colour, well structured and with a strong persistence on the palate.
